DressAfford.com has been known to sell knock-off formal dresses
After investigating DressAfford.com, it has been discovered that this website is from Asia and they sell formal dresses that are not from the original designer, but copies that they make based upon a picture. DressAfford has been added to our Do Not Buy list. They are illegally selling one or more dress lines using the manufacturers pictures or pictures from actual people without their permission. These dresses are imitations and not authentic from the actual designer. Buyer beware!

"Their photos looks beautiful on the website. But I suppose you really get what you pay for. I received my dress and it was absolutely disgusting to look at. It looked cheap and make out of plastic. I have contacted their customer service many times and they refuse to give me a refund. I even paid for a $5 bustle and never received it on my dress. Don't waste your time. Your chances of buying a dress through OfferUp are better than DressAfford!
The customer service representative, Estella has such poor skills. I even went on their Facebook "business" page to warn others about their scam and they managed to block a paying customer. The measurements of the dress aren't the measurements I paid for and I didn't get a bustle at all. And because of that, I am still not getting a refund. Estella also mentioned the dresses are made in China... I wouldn't recommend buying anything from here, EVER. Especially with poor service skills on all ends of the company.
If you are having trouble with getting a refund, call your bank and dispute the charge as a scam. If the order isn't what was promised, it can be considered a scam! It's not fair to have to stress about so many other things on your special day and have to deal with an incompetent service woman! You deserve the best for your wedding day! Save yourself the trouble!"
